I am an expert consumer.

I’m that guy that all of my friends go to for advice before they buy things. I’m picky. I won’t keep something unless I’m satisfied with it. I routinely buy things, find I don’t like them for some reason or another, and return them. But, even through all that, there are a lot of things I do like, and I see no reason to keep that to myself.

I’m just a guy who likes toys, gadgets, and things that work.

I have no personal affiliation with any retail outlets, manufacturers, or marketers, with the exception of The Compleat Sculptor, which my family owns. I do have referral relationships with some vendors, and I will link to these vendors only when I think that’s the best choice. I link to (and personally shop at) Amazon a lot, because their return policy is stellar, and they process and ship very quickly. If you buy from Amazon frequently, Amazon Prime is a fantastic deal ($80/year membership for unlimited 2-day shipping), and eliminates two of the major headaches in dealing with online shopping - worrying about batching multiple items to save on shipping, waiting too long for your stuff. I consider the total experience when choosing a vendor to link to.
